A great adventure as we ran down from trail head of Boy Scout hot springs to the Colorado River (with most water I have ever seen coming downstream!) Inflating our faithfull $7.00 pack rafts and paddling, pulling, carrying, and grabbing rocks along the cliffs to manage our way upstream. Karen and I were both 100% sure it was going to be a downstream run looking at the speed of the current as did the Black Canyon tour boat operator and their guests who watched us blow the tiny rafts up as we calmly played the roles of knowing what was up (even thou going down looked to be the ONLY option!) and our technique used for ascent upstream is a Scout's Honor secret! Enjoy the show...
*Also do not try this without a life jacket and being ready to walk a long ways to get to nearest road
